Janet Caruana was born in the United Kingdom where she was brought up and educated. After leaving college she spent a good number of years traveling the world as a bi-lingual secretary before entering the world of tourism. Her first job in tourism was with Cosmos Air Holidays (Globus Gateway) and was responsible to guide various clients through Europe. Janet was eventually posted to Malta as head representative of Cosmos Air Holidays.

After a brief break away from the tourism industry, Janet returned to join a local DMC, and was involved in various marketing efforts where she acquired considerable knowledge in this sphere of the business.

At Travel Contacts, Janet is looking forward to marketing the 'leading DMC's of the world'.

Jo is a graduate from Queen Margaret's University College in Edinburgh (Scotland) where she obtained a BA(Hons) and is specialised in Arts Journalism. She also has qualifications in sales and marketing and is enjoying putting all that she has learnt into practice through Travel Contacts.

When she is not working for TC, she is a freelance journalist for several publications in Malta and the UK, and performs regularly on the Maltese stage.
